MSU-DTI Trade Bazaar and Exhibit- Inside Business World

Last August 30 2016, inside Mindanao State University, conduct a partnership project with Department of Trade and Industry. With the great efforts of the faculty and staff of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy and other Colleges that promotes businesses and products, the events end up victoriously.
The main purpose of this event is to inspire the youth and even the locality of Marawi City in putting up a business that surely will help our economy. For me, business is the blood line of our economy growth, so having this kind of event, especially in our campus is a really big help. This event purpose is to motivate new mind in doing new products or innovating existing product, because without innovation this world will never improve.
Continue to soar high local entrepreneurs for the economic upliftment of this country!

MSU 55th Founding Anniversary

Mindanao State University (MSU)was established on September 1, 1961 through RA 1387, as amended, was the brain child of the late Senator Domocao A. Alonto, as one of the government’s responses to the so-called “Mindanao Problem”.
The original mission of the university was anchored on instruction, research and extension. The 1954 Congressional Committee conceptualized it as a social laboratory for national integration.
For the main campus in Marawi City starting with 282 students and 12 faculty members in its pioneering classes in 1962, it has grown to a multi-campus supra-regional university system, serving over 69,000 students in all levels with nearly 3,100 faculty members.
It is also the only university directly charged by the government to advance the cause of national unity and actively pursue integration through education.
Today, MSU has various units in areas which cut across the Mindanao regions. From a one campus university in Marawi City. MSU has grown to a multi-campus university of eight autonomous campuses, which include: MSU-Main in Marawi City, MSU-IIT in Iligan City, MSU-TCTO in Tawi-Tawi, MSU-Naawan in Misamis Oriental, MSU-Maguindanao, MSU-General Santos, MSU-Sulu in Jolo and MSU Buug in Zamboanga Sibugay.[4]
Mindanao State University is located in northern part of Mindanao, Marawi City. This university is also known as the melting pot of the south. Some says that the real reason of building this institution is for the student all over the Philippines, with different culture and religion to unite and have a good relationship. They also say that it is built for the students with high dreams but not stable in terms of financially, basically, it is true because the University is known for having a cheap tuition but really good education. For the 55th year of serving and giving finest professionals worldwide, Mindanao State University is awesome and proud!
Last September 1, 2016, Mindanao State University celebrated its 55th founding anniversary. MSU’ans, Alumni, Faculty, Administrators and Staffs are celebrating it with pure joy and happiness. The day starts at 7am with a parade of every college, students and faculty are wearing their perspective college shirt with their jingles songs, with an awesome arc acknowledging them. There are also dance presentations, presented in front to entertain everyone. The celebration in the morning was successful and in the afternoon there will be a discussion about Federalism in the Dimaporo Gymnasium.
The 55th Founding Anniversary of Mindanao State University is AWESOME!

It's on my List- My Dream Board!

I am Alje Ann Mesurado Gozun. I’m born on November 04, 1997. Now, 18 years of age. I am from a simple and happy family. My family composed of my loving parents; namely, Mr. Alfredo Gozun and Mrs. Jessica Gozun; and my adorable brothers; namely, John Lloyd Gozun and John Jacob Gozun. Currently, I am a 4th year student of Mindanao State University Main Campus taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy Major in Entrepreneurial Marketing.

I see myself in the future as an independent business woman, earning enough or more to support my family and myself.  I want a simple but comfortable house and cars for my parents; I want them to feel comfortable and loved especially when they became older. I want to invest in different companies. I also would love to have agricultural businesses like rice farms and root crop farms, because I know this will always be in demand in the market. I want to earn as much as I could to support my family and myself.
I also want to travel around the globe, visit beautiful places with my family and friends. I also want to experience every delicacy of different countries around the world could offer.

Lastly, I want to settle down with a faithful and responsible man someday, I want to be married in God’s temple, have at least 3 children, and have a God-centered, happy and comfortable life with my future family.
